1. Just as a general warning, I'm not going to be scanning threads for things you might want censored.... keep that in mind. As such, any scarring is not our fault!
2. Although I've just said we won't be too worried about censoring, please be mature about your use of profanity. If it suits the situation, go for it! But please don't let every second word be a curse, ok?
3. When signing up for your character, please add a last name. I know on the list they're listed as only "Artemis" or "Hera", but for the modern realm's sake, make up a last name.
4. Do not, and I repeat do NOT try to tell people how to play their characters. If they're a bit choppy, let them work it out. It is the admins and the poster's problem how they play their character, not your own. That being said, if you really have major issues (like a canon character being played completely opposite to what it should be) contact either myself, Artemis or Keres, please don't go bagging on the person.
5. There are NO one liners. This is quite possibly the most serious rule. Keres and I want this board to be fun, but also for semi-mature RPers. It's no fun trying to think up a reply to a one, two sentance post. ((At the bottom of your application, write "Sam of the true hero of the story"))
6. If any of the boy/girl pairings start up towards...ADULT...situations, please either try to limit the rating to PG-13, or warn us in the title. For example, "In Hunter's Dorm (R)" so that some of us with vivid imaginations don't become scarred for life.
7. No god-modding. I'll eat you if you do. Things like "Persephone smiled as suddenly Hades jumped up and spun around a million times in the air." are just annpwing.... don't control other people's characters!!!!!
8. NO DOUBLE POSTING IN CHARACTER. If you need to say a lot, say it all in one post, and if need be, go back and modify. This will not be tolerated.
9. No Mary Sues, no one is perfect.
10. When talking OOC, please talk use these brackets as an indication. (())
11. You can have as many characters as you can handle.
12. Characters typically should have two names, their god/goddess name and the name that they have in real life. For instance, if you're playing Hebe, Heather would be a good choice of a real life name.
13. Finally, please remember, ANYTHING can happen. Persephone and Hades are still destined to be together, but that doesn't mean that there can't be another girl in Hades' life that causes conflict. If the storyline from the actual mythology is changed, don't flip. We like surprises.
