Long day, long hours...long.....life. Kaysi groaned as she entered the Library. She threw her long black hair over her shoulders and quirked a brow as she entered the place. It smelled of pages from new to past. The only sound really being heard was whispering of few people in the areas of the Library, typing of the keyboards, and pages being turned. As well as some foot steps. She dropped her bag into a nearby arm chair and looked around in some of the old books, in search of something to catch her fancy.
Well what do you know...She thought with a slight chuckle. She smirked gently and pulled up a black bound book from the shelf. The book looked ancient. The black leather was pealing and the pages looked as if they were old parchment. The gold had been faded off the cover, but still easy to read.
"Book of the dead huh..."She chuckled and held the book close to her as if this were a prized possetion to her. She looked around nervously and sighed to herself every now and again. She poped her neck and sat in the arm chair after carelessly dropping her bag to the ground and gently flipped the book open for her mind to feast its eyes on. She smiled wickedly as she read the old pages and absorbed all their knowledge.

A certain goth limped into the library, wearing a scowl that had only recently become his most used expression. The pain in his leg was, of course, bearable, but that does not in any way mean that it didn't hurt like a lot of curse words he could easily use to vent at his pain.
He walked painfully over toward the section containing the oldest books in the library, seeing a raven-haired girl sitting in an armchair reading a book he recognized with a decidedly wicked look on her face. Seoras smirked and quickly pulled a red-leather-bound book with jet-black lettering on the front, a book just as old and battered as the one the girl infront of him held. He came up infront of her and paused to speak, shifting his weight as best he could to his good leg. The smirk still rested on his lips as he momentarily forgot the pain in his leg.
"The Book of the Dead is meant to give life; the Book of the Living takes it away. Something tells me this would be a tad more your style," he commented softly, holding out the book slightly. On the book's cover in the black lettering read The Book of the Living...

Kaysi chuckled as she looked up at him with her one leg crossed over the other,"My my my how the mighty hath fallen...How are you Seoras...."She chuckled gently under her breath. She moved the book over next to her and reached her pale fingers out to accept the book infront of her. Her dark makeup giving her a deathly look on her face as well as her pale skin.
"Still know me all too well I see..."She said gently. Looking at the red book. She then looked up at him with her cold dark eyes and waved her had gently to the seat infront of her,"Please..."She said gently. She smirked gently, awaiting for him to to make his move.
Men...they were so funny sometimes...Except for the ones she kept close to her. She smiled gently then looked around the quaint establishment about her. Course the 'I don't care' look remained across her face, which she really honnestly didn't.

"My my my how the mighty hath fallen...How are you Seoras...."
"I haven't fallen yet, just limping," he corrected. "You should see the other guy..."
"Still know me all too well I see...Please..."
Seoras sat, a little heavir than he intended to, in the seat across from the deathly pale girl. If he hadn't known this to be normal for her, he would have been extremely worried. "Should I not? I never forget the most beautiful..." It was not just his love of flirting that drove Seoras to comment as such, but also the feelings he habored toward Kaysi; whether he would admit them openly was another matter...
((What sort of relationship do they have? Friends, crushing friends, ex's...what?))

She blinked slightly and lowered her head. She then turned her head and let out a gentle sigh, covering her mouth with the back of her hand. She closed her dark eyes and smiled gently. Her body language not meaning to seem inviting to him. This was something she did not want to do. She will admit that she held feelings for him for the longest time, though she will not admit it.
She smirked gently and looked up at him,"I would have liked to see the other guy." She smiled gently. Wickedness was her best bid. Something she was great with. Anyone who knew her knew it. Helena was her BEST friend....so she was the one who knew her all too well. She smiled up at Seoras once more and uncrossed her legs and then crossed the other one over the other.
Her pale hand supporting her head up as she closed her eyes once more.
((Ummm say they have strong feelings for one another...but she won't admit it. They are inlove...but in a way...forbidden...and well there's another man who wants her heart...Thanatos.))

Seoras watched as Kaysi fidgited around, his heart starting to speed up a bit. "Why does she do this to me? I doubt she even knows how much she...argh..."
"I would have liked to see the other guy."
"Yes, well, my cousin isn't so easy on the eyes anymore..." he said, trying notto smile and failing. He almost felt sorry for his cousin and the broken nose and bruises the goth had given him, but the knife his drunken cousin had buried to the hilt in his thigh previous to that lessened the guilt considerably...
"So...what is it that brings you here? Searching for love spells to cast upon a boy you like? A potion, perhaps, to curse your foes?"
((Works for me.))

"Must you always steriotype me....."he said gently as she stood up and began to walk away, with THE BOOK OF THE DEAD in her hands. She slowly walked back to the bookself where she pulled the book from. She lowered her eyes gently. He seemed to always torture the poor girl. For as long as she knew him...he seemed to always put her through this. She lowered her dark eyes and cringed slightly.
All she wanted was to run to him, and hold him. Love him. Anything she could do, but couldn't...for it would be frowned upon. That and Thanatos. Whom she loved with every little beat of her heart. But then again...Seoras had her heart aswell.
"No no no! What are you doing to yourself! Kaysi mentaly slapped herself as she lowered her eyes once more. She knew he cared for her....or did he? He seemed as if he did. NO! Course not. She was no goddess...but a spirit. Something that was in no comparison to one of higher ranking and beauty. She shook her head madly. Wanting Seoras to break her down. Show her for what she really was...what she hid from others.
Thanatos did that aswell. She was very inviting to Seoras right at this moment. Seoras was killing the poor girl. She hung her head gently. Her body at an angle as her hands rested against the bookshelf as she hung her head. Her long black hair was all over the place, her back, over her shoulders. She squeezed her eyes shut and took a deep breath. Her black and purple stockings were also joined with a shreded black skirt, giving it a pixie like style. She was in a pair of purple and white convers and a black tank up that read,Come out come out where ever you are.

"Must you always steriotype me....."
"Well...you WERE reading the Book of the DEAD!!!" screamed one of the voices in his head, before another thought cut it off with a much softer sentiment as he watched her get up and go put the book back on the self. His previous smile was replaced with a look of deep concern as he watched Kaysi, by all appearances, beat herself up over something.
Seoras stood slowly, fighting to keep from hissing as his rebellious leg, and made his way over toward the girl. "Every single time...every time I open my mouth something bad happens...I really need to learn to just shut up..."
Now behind Kaysi, the goth hesitantly wrapped his arms around her middle and leaned into her slightly so his face was by her ear. "I'm...sorry Kaysi, I didn't mean it that way..." He sighed sadly, trying to keep a handle on his emotions, several of which were demanding he try to kiss her. "I'm sorry..." he repeated...

As he touched her, he body tightened, and she slowly became more at ease with herself. She leaned back, pressing her back up against his front. Her eyes slowly closing. How they fell inlove with one another. She could not quite say. But it was something that she cherished for a long time. She tilted her head to the side and closed her eyes laying her head against his shoulder, her cold hands gently touching his, as he held her close to him.
"I could never stay mad at you..."she said gently. She couldn't either. He lifted her heart and made it sing. He knew of her love for Thanatos aswell, but told her a long time ago he would still care for her. She sighed gently and slowly opened her eyes, looking ahead of them, looking at the old books that peaked her interest.

When he felt Kaysi tighten up at his touch, Seoras began to wonder if he would have been better off still in that chair. However, as he felt her relax and even snuggle into his hold a little, letting her head lean on his shoulder, he know he'd made the right choice.
"I could never stay mad at you..."
Seoras smiled, though the girl could not see it, and for once decided to actually hold his tongue even before he could try to come up with something to say to that. Instead, he took her hands in his own, sensing her cold flesh starting to warm slightly, the slightest of smiles on his face. Twisting his head, he leaned in and let his lips brush softly against her cheek...
Great, just what everyone needed: the emotions were out, and if no one did anything to stop them, they were going to rampage. Emotional rampages, for our purposes, would most likely mean storms of kisses and electric lip-locks...again, if no one nipped this little problem in the bud. And odds were, it would very soon be, most likely with a slap to the face and a girl storming off. Que sera sera...

She smiled gently as he kissed her cheek. She then turned around and faced him, placing her hands back into hers. She lowered her eyes and looked down at the floor. Should they be doing this? She didn't care. Her eyes then met his as she slowly closed hers, brushing her lips up against his, then finaly, allowing their lips to press into one anothers.
One part of her was telling her way ta go. While the other was telling her to stop. She then pulled away from his lips and looked up into his eyes, gently touching his cheek,"Forgive me.."She said gently, now letting his hands drop to their sides.. She then wrapped her arms around her body and sighed. She couldn't do this to herself.
She was not worthy of him. How could she compete with a goddess? She sucked her bottom lip between her teeth and gently bit down. She was hurting, and not at the same time, laying her side up against the shelf. She wanted to hug him once more and hold him.
