Oh, but a lovely day it was. The birds were out singing and the sun gave the young God, Ares but a clear sky. Thanking Zues; Vincent wandered around this dank estate and sighed slightly. His arms lift in the air, above his head, curling slightly inward as he stretched. He smiled as he stretched and breathed in the fresh air. He had been locked away for the longest of times. Locked away from the world around him.
Well he was out now. Nobody to keep him confined in his humble estate with his humanoid parental units. He yawned gently as he plucked at his dark green shirt, with black letters reading,"Luck of the Irish" Across it. He was also accompanied by a pair of Acid wash Jeans that were slightly tight and slightly baggy all at once, and a pair of brown Converse.
His shaggy blonde hair hung in his ice blue eyes as he wandered around the forest. Humming forgotten songs of old that he hadn't heard since he was but a boy. He had forgotten about how nature was. The last thing this god needed to do was to forget about that. War invovled nature. He was the God of War.

"And it's go boys go, they'll time your every breath... for every day you're in this place, brings you two days nearer to death... but you go.... The song from the old days in Ireland appeared float through the forest, as Helena softly sang it under her breath. Although the song wasn't her favourite, she still loved to sing it. For some reason or another, it held some sort of 'deeper meaning' to the lanky brunette. It might have been the fact that her cruel nature often seemed to bring her closer to death whenever she approached the school here... but more often than not, she brought it upon herself... All the same, she fancied to liken herself to the song.
As she wandered through the dense forest, the girl found herself getting lost in a world of thought.... completely outside of the one that surrounded her. Her thoughts were of mystery and enchantment... and of course, magic of all sorts. Truly, the girl found herself so completely out of it, then when she bumped into another human being, wandering just as she was, Helena just continued to sing.
"There's thunder all around me and there's poison in the air. There's a lousy smell that smacks of hell and dust all in me hair... She was about to continue on with the song, when suddenly, as if she had been hit with a bucket of ice cold water, the lanky girl blinked several times. Shaking her head, Helena scanned around her. 'forest... yes... I remember that...' she thought silently. Then she spotted the boy. 'What the hell-' her thoughts were cut off when suddenly a spark of recognition set a blaze in her mind.
Letting out a high-pitched squeal, the brunetted ran and jumped on her old friend, wrapping both her arms and legs around him. "VINCENT!!!" She squealed, "Vincent! Oh my god!! How are you?!!!" She the kissed his cheek lightly, and pulled her head back enough to look into the icy blue eyes of her dear friend.
In all actuality, this scene would be a bit odd to stumble into... taking into consideration that Helena was sporting bright red, knee-high converse-boots, a tattered mini-skirt, fishnets, and a v-neck button-up sleeveless vest. But all the same... the overall joy of seeing an old friend outweighed that of any chance of this being even slightly akward.

Ah, again the fresh scent. The silence...which was shortly broken by the high toned shriek of one whom he fell inlove with long ago. Or so he thought it was. He whirled around slowly, but was suddenly stopped by her huggling him and kissing his cheek. Oh those soft lips. So lucious and delacate...like a rose peddal. Wait...Ares is a romantic? Since when...since he layed eyes upon the Magical Goddess, whos appearance as well as form mad her seem almost pixie-like.
He wrapped his strong arms about her, holding her close to his body. She smelled of fresh flowers in his mind. How lovely she was to him. So precious. Like a jewel. She was young, and beautiful. Almost as if whom ever created her, made her specifically for him. Which was a nice thought now and again.
He then pulled away and looked the young lady over a few times,"Long time no see!" he said excitedly. He was excited though. To see her and only her. He loved her. He needed that little bit in his life that was forbidden umungst the Gods. Though he didn't care.

Slowly, a grin creeped accross Helena's face. It would appear that Vincent had been processing the fact that he now had someone wrapped around him... but all the same, the only thing that escaped his mouth was a simple Long time no see! The brunette shook her head, as she felt her old frien wrap his arms around her and pull the girl in a bit closer. "Really now, Vincent... you are quite the mystery...." She said, her eyes glinting happilly. Although one might say that Vincent and herself had been 'childhood-sweethearts' of sorts... the brunette had since then began to have feelings for other people.... but it would appear, judging by the way that the boy was staring at her.... Vincent had not.
Yet all the same, the lanky girl wasn't held down by anyone.... and as such, she was free to relentlessly flirt with whomever she pleased... As she was now with Vincent. Once more staring into his eyes, the girl's smile faded... and for a second, a spark was lit in her mind of the past romance she had with Vincent.... but with another passing moment, the grin re-appeared on the girl's face, and she flung her arms around her dear, old friend once more. "Damn... I've missed you..." She said, still hugging the boy.

"I missed you aswell..." he said gently, holding the young girl to his body. Protecting her by all means necessary. She was the best thing in this world to him. He was inlove with the goddess of Magic, making him want more, whether or not she bewitched him; he will never know. But he didn't seem to give a damn. She was here with him. He was stronger around this one. Who made him feel like he was the man he could be.
He pulled his body away from her and looked down at her, his hands rested gently on her shoulders. His eyes looking into hers. He then felt his hand moving up to her cheek and gave it a gentle stroke. A smile painted across his face,"How have you been my dear?" He asked gently.
He was curious as to how she was. For he loved her more than any goddess or any human or spirit who walked this planet. She was the most beautiful creature to him. He looked her up and down once more and smiled widely,"How have you been, lass?"

"Well I must admit... you would have to be daft not to miss me..." The brunette said, sarcastically. Helena was about to let go of Vincent, and once more plant her feet on firm ground, when suddenly, she felt his hand softly rest on her cheek. For a moment, the girl froze, with no idea on how to react. Her face went completely blank. Then, as if once more awakening, a smile crossed the girl's face. She lifted her hand to Vincent's and removed it from her face. The girl then crawled off of the boy, and stood firmly on her ground.
She knew that her acion might upset him... but all the same she didn't really feal the nescessity to be romantically involved with Vincent again.... not yet anyways.... Still smiling, the lanky girl opened her mouth to sing, softly. "I wish my love was a red, red rose growing on yon garden wall ....And me to be a dewdrop and upon her brow I'd fall! Perhaps now she might think of me as a rather heavy dew And no more she'd love that handsome lad they call O'Donahue!" The song she sang was yet another of the old Irish songs she held so dear. She preferred this one above many others.... yet it still wasn't her favourite.
Realizing that now would be as good a time as ever to answer Vincent's question, the smile faded a little off of Helena's face. "I've been in the grey shades of late..." She told her old friend, truthfully. "And thyself, good sir?" Helena wasn't quite sure how it got started... but since they had first met.... Vincent and her would always randomly break into Olde-English speach.

"Ah...my dear...For that sounds all too well. Though thou has still remained fair after so long. Tell me fair one...tell thee what is thy secret..."He smirked slightly, watching her with his blue eyes varey carefully as he turned slightly, stuffing his hands into his pockets, looking up through the canopy; seeing but few rays of light stream through.
He was walking just slow enough to allow her to follow him. He then turned around and smiled at her, walking backwards. Watching her watching him.
