"Left. Right. Turn, block. Attack. Attack. Move your feet. Block. Turn. Attack. Bring down."
The instructor called out to the students. Alana Moressite being one of these students. Sword play was one of Alana's strengths. Also one of her favorite ways of battle. She knew it well and easily brought down her opponent. She helped the boy up and smiled. "Nice fighting. It might help if you work on your attacking. You have to get angry and really be in your zone. Just remember you have to be able to think clearly too so don't get so angry you can't think." She advised and the boy smiled and nodded his thanks. Alana was the best of the class so everyone knew to listen to her.
She then waited for the teacher's next instructions. He looked around at all of his students and thought a minute. He then looked at Alana and smirked. He motioned for her to come up and then looked out at everyone. "Alright, I want you to watch this sequence. Try and memorize it if you can. It's going to be complicated so its okay if you don't get it the first time." He said and drew his own sword. He then looked at Alana. "Sequence 231." He told her and she nodded. She knew what they were doing and it was complicated. She knew no one would be able to get it on the first try. She stood, ready for the first attack. Finally, the teacher made the first move and the dance of death began.
It was a long and complicated fight and Alana found she was working up a sweat and concentrating hard. She was moving perfectly and it took a lot of strength to what she was doing. Finally, it was done. She made one lethal stroke and brought her instructor down. She smiled and helped him up. That had been hard but it had been a good sequence. She was proud of herself. The instructor looked out at the rest of the students who all had amazed looks on their faces. Both Alana and the teacher were breathing hard. "And that, is what you call a good fight." He said and smiled. "Class dismissed, see you tomorrow." He said and watched as all the students filed out. He waved to Alana and left too. Alana stayed back, however. It was her job to clean up afterwards. She sighed softly and started her job.
About twenty minutes later, she was done. She smiled softly then looked down at herself. She was wearing a white tank top and some grey shorts. The shorts were rather short as they were workout shorts but all in all, she looked okay. Her black hair was pulled up in a ponytail but some strands had worked themselves loose. She then heard someone and looked over to see who it was.
